Challenges:
  • Short time frame for design, approval, construction and installation
  • Two separate banks of cabinetry with three temperature zones
  • Limited space available for location of cooling systems and appurtenant mechanicals
  • Provide the required functionality while meeting interior design and construction constraints

Solution:
  • Expedited design, fabrication and installation in coordination with contractor and related sub-contractors
  • Installation of three ClimatechTM wine cooling systems with zone control
  • Location of cooling systems above cabinets with supply venting, open plenum exhaust and mechanical connections hidden from view yet accessible for maintenance
  • Obtained necessary r-value requirements for casework and glass doors while meeting aesthetic requirements
  • Cabinets and trim installed and systems tuned by required deadlines and within budget
